~What's In Season~
December - January - February: Winter-run Steelhead.
The planted / hatchery Steelhead peak in late December and as this run winds down through January the predominately larger wild Steelhead start to move into our rivers. January through February brings a mix of hatchery and wild Steelhead.

March - April: Winter-run Steelhead.
The peak of the wild Steelhead run, this is the prime time to catch trophy-sized Steelhead, my favorite time of the Steelhead season!

May - June: Spring Chinook and the beginning of our summer-run Steelhead.
Spring Chinook / Kings are some of the tastiest and most challenging to catch of all the Pacific Northwest Salmon. Summer-run Steelhead tend to be more aggressive than their winter counterparts and fight fiercely.

July - August: Summer-run Steelhead, Chinook salmon.
This is peak season for the Summer-run Steelhead. Long, warm days and hard-fighting acrobatic Steelhead.

September - October: Coho / Silver Salmon, Chinook / King salmon, late summer-run Steelhead. Peak season for the salmon. a good shot at a mixed bag of multiple salmon species and Steelhead.

November - December: Coho / Silver salmon, Chum salmon and the beginning of the winter-run Steelhead season. Peak season for hard fighting Chum salmon.

Trout Fishing:
April - October, we will be fishing many of the area lakes and rivers, including the Yakima River, Washington State's blue ribbon finest!
