Puget Sound Sea Run Cutthroats

A Cutthroat Trout that goes out and lives in salt water. How cool is that?

A uniquely Northwest experience and one of my favorite fisheries! These fish and the waters they swim in are flat- out awesome and this is one of the best places in the world to target them. Calm, protected waters from 6 inches to 12 feet deep with enough tide to make it move, sort of like flats fishing, kind of like river fishing, all in some of the most beautiful settings the Northwest has to offer. Great 5wt and 6wt fun for fly anglers of all ability levels. Far and away the best and most productive way to chase these fish is from a boat, and my boat was custom- built for this fishery. With GPS autopilot electric motors, front and back, raised casting platforms and braces, two anglers can comfortably fly fish at the same time. We fish the best areas for the tide and day and this fast, stable boat gives you the opportunity to fish many places, all in the same day. From a boat the fish are never out of range. Don’t get left standing on a beach!
